It’s hilarious watching the mainstream news media not realize when I’m being sarcastic.
In case you missed it, I was on CNBC’s Closing Bell on Tuesday night to talk about my new show “Off The Grid” and why I choose to live off the grid.
If you’ve been watching my show, then you already know that I did a whole episode on my reasons for living off the grid on Wednesday:
But I decided to have a little fun with CNBC, and I definitely left them speechless, when I told them I’m off the grid so the drones won’t find me.

Now hundreds of news articles have circulated online – stating this as my only reason for going “off the grid.” Here’s one of the the first articles that came out.
Just google “Jesse Ventura drones” to find hundreds more on Politico, Huffington Post, The Drudge Report, Salon — the list goes on and on.
Out of everything I said during the interview, the mainstream media took the one line I said in jest and turned it into fact. Classic marginalizing, right?
Well, fine then. Let’s talk about what’s really wrong with drones.
Drones are a serious issue and I don’t think enough people are talking about the implications drones can have on all of us.
For starters:
- Drones invade our privacy.
- They’re another way for the government to treat the American people like terror threats.
- Drones give a false sense of security and take away our freedom and our rights.
- The government has no right to spy on us, end of story.

Off the Grid 
I have no faith in our gov at all, i watched your episode about the coffins and “residential homes” and honestly dont see action isnt being taken against this?! It drives me crazy,i know this doesnt have anything to do with drone strikes just felt the need to comment, ever since i started looking up on my straight talk phone gov conspiracy and other things like that its been going crazy as well, closing certain websites , keeps mesaing with my typing, and all sorts of other things, could you do a show on gov and phone tapping/hacking and prevention ? I know the obvious answer is get rid of it , but its my information sorce, continue to post mr ventura , my eyes are opening. Thanks

Jesse, I just want to say thank you for all the things you try to bring the peoples attention to. I truly hope you advance your political career and run for president. It has been way too long since we had a president who had any honor. I do not know if there is any chance of the nation recovering from the decline it is in before hitting the bottom, but I truly believe that you are the only person who is willing to try to save us, and also has any chance of being elected. I think there was a few movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger that involved drones and the future of mankind and we know what that looked like.
Governor Ventura, It has been a pleasure listening to you on the Internet for the past few years. I didn’t really know about you back when you were Governor of Minnesota. I appreciate your steadfast dedication and perserverance in politics for the United States. I respect and admire your courage and honesty with everything you do and say. JesseeI Like Jesse And Would Love For Him To Run For President
So many things to say, but sadly think it’s too late to turn this train wreck around. Some people are saying you should run for President. As much as I’d like to see a man of your honor and integrity in office, I’d hate to see you fighting a loosing battle with congress and the MEDIA. Keeping us informed of the true State of the Union would better serve our country as we know it.
I hope people open their eyes and ears soon. Most people listen to the media and the government and their satisfied because their afraid of the truth. I suppose it scares most people to hear the truth hell it scares me most of the time. But I’ve never believed everything I hear especially from our government. Propaganda folks look it up! I enjoy
